Strangulation – Officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of NW Oak Ave for report of a domestic dispute between a 44-year-old female and 51-year-old male. The male had multiple warrants for his arrest and was transported to the Linn County Jail. Warrant Arrest – A 46-year-old male, Sweet Home resident, was stopped in the 2600 block of SW Philomath Blvd for a traffic violation. The male was taken into custody for Harassment and transported to the jail. During the course of the argument, the female’s arm got closed in the door and the male pulled wiring from under the dash of the vehicle to make it inoperable.
The 35-year-old female was trying to leave the residence in her vehicle and the 38-year-old male was trying to prevent her from leaving. There was no crime involving the argument, but the 24-year-old female had warrants for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.
